Good effort there by the boy. Updated the front page. Does your lad do the Rhyl/VCM TT's? Have to wait until he is 12 which isn't until next year, but we will do a few then hopefully! Trouble is I've got to follow him

Finally got myself down the marin today, Not been round there since the snow on the cannondale in febuary. Managed 1hr 26m 57s ;D Well pleased with that considering i had a few sketchy moments on the decents but kept it all together Was great to see a couple of freindly faces out on the trail & have catchup back in the carpark Garmin data Just noticed the moving time is less, strange as i didnt stop anywhere?

Couple of updates and another wiggle!! Dsmiff's son's real name, Christian (Chris for short) Smith(11) did the red/black (inc JJ's) 1h 21min today (very wet track) - getting closer to his target of 1hr 15 the roller coasters where closed, but I don't think the diversion adds or removes any time - so may not count? You also have him down as an adult on his 1:14 on the red/black no jj's, still a few years to go yet!!!! Also the youngest Alexander (Alex) Smith(8) did the red/black (no jj's) in 1hr 38 mins - including a wipe out at the end and a couple of stops. Sorry the timing is nothing more sophisticated than a stop watch but it works!! I'll get my times up here soon, don't think I'm much quicker than the 8 year old right now. Would be nice if everyone got the times up here, gives a good idea of who you could ride with!

Thanks dude, I'll wait for some good weather to dry it out a bit and have another pop I think. ;-)
I'll have to have a crack at some of the others. Big fan of the Marin trail but usually ride it linked together with Penmachno so no idea how long it should take.

Big fan of the Marin trail but usually ride it linked together with Penmachno so no idea how long it should take. Go for it dude. It'd be good to have a new benchmark time for the Marin (might even motivate me to get back on the mtb and start trying fast laps again). I'm guessing you race? Forget it, I've just googled your name. Welcome to the forum anyway and I look forward to seeing some more fast times.

Haha Thanks guys...
Llandegla is my "go to" local trail, Marin is a bit further afield so might not get there till towards winter time... ;-)
Great idea btw, think it's great to see other peoples times.
Awesome site, glad I found it, loads of info!

Impressive time It should be noted you had the benefit of not doing the rollacoasters at the Red/Blue split as it is closed and you have to fire down the fireroad which would be quicker.

definately more time in it for you as mine was done on a summers evening so no traffic & dry dusty conditions. Nice to see what is possible & raises the bar just that little bit further. What time to the top berm just before the fire road just out of interest?
