Not a great time but went to Penmachno on Sunday having been given afternoon pass. On first climb hooked up with Dave Sanderson by coincidence, never met before, ended up doing route 1 and 2 in 3.09. Not a great willy wave time but was just a good afternoon out, thanks Dave. Also somewhat slowed down by leaving DNA all over track after loosing argument with tree stump and rock .

hadn't done penmachno both loops for ages, so went today for a wave. didn't expect to have hail stones on mountain bit that made the ride a bit of an experience. time of 2:04:50secs.

Top time there - you'll crack the 2 hour mark next time. I think the hailstones must have melted by the time we got there today.... but was a bit shocked when the house thermometer said there was a minimum of minus1.6 last night. I thought it was June

Here is the fastest time of the year so far 42 seconds. Bike 20" fixie with only a rear brake. location rhyl marsh bmx track. Ok so not a MTB route but offroad. Get yourself down there. You can hire bike, helmet, pads and use track for a tenner. Great fun. Ady was circa 1 min ;D. Great venue if you fancy doing something different.

Marin 19/06/11 , Race Kings on a bit of a push rewarded with 1.46.14 best of the year for me . Justin finished a quick one just before I left a 1.30 i think and Dyls was just starting a lap although I tried to convince him to wave , don't think he was going to bother .

With Ken throwing down a very good time I thought I'd give this wave thing a go Having done a 1' 52" last year I was thinking that maybe this racing around a forest thing wasn't for me. So this afternoon I got the Orange out and dusted it down, spoke nicely to it and told it to either shape up or the Trek was coming out of retirement for the next ride ;D Anyway it seemed to do the trick as I got round in 1' 40" 27" ;D Really pleased at first, then realised that if I'd have pushed a little harder at the beginning and managed to knock 28 seconds off, then I'd have broken the 1' 40" mark Anyeay, there's always next time The proof
