Oh my aching back!!! Marin trail on the bucking broncho in 2.03. Well happy with that as the best time I've ever done on this bike is 1.55 when I was a stone and a half lighter in 2010! Also this is only the second time on the bike since the start of December (did a 3 and a bit hour social ride on Sandi's ride last Sunday) . Cleat also came loose on the tarmac bit by the farm,so 7 min down nursing the cleat and being a heavy chappie will do me at the start of 2012. See what we can do by the time summer comes!

Good time there Aled . I went to do the Marin last Wednesday to try and get under 3 Hours (Standard for Forum Rides). I only managed to do 3Hrs 2Mins but was quite pleased with this afterwards as at Pont Banog I had taken 1Hr 45 Mins and thought I was heading for a 3 Hrs 30 Mins or more time. The diversion signs had me confused for a while ...seemed to be going off in all directions...hadn't noticed the "Inbound" and "Outbound". Also had a bit of a Dribble on the "Ride Fast Ride Free" section ...but not in the same place I had my off on the beginner's ride. This was the first time that I'd tried the full Marin and will have another go in a few weeks when the diversions have been removed ;D.

Good to see you're getting the Waves started early Aled . Oggy will be next after all those winter road rides he's been getting in .

Well, after sleeping in and missing the forum dribble I decided to have a bit of a spin around the Marin. Flat chat from start to finish in some pretty grim conditions for a time of 1hr, 15mins and 5secs. Reckon there's 5mins to come off on my own bike or maybe 10mins off if I sort my life out and get a race bike. Going to be a good season... connect.garmin.com/activity/145692291

Jeez, takes me that long to get out the car park after setting up bike and having a natter ;D Great time Mr Evans

I think if I trained hard I might be able to get to 1:30 one day, but 1:15 is insanely fast. Respect Oh and 2:03's not bad for January either Aled

I was on Nobby's Ken, and I'd say it's still waaaay too wet for RK's. I really enjoyed it today and it's more intense training than I could ever have on the road. Have to make it a regular thing again.

Nice one guys, brilliant times The great thing about the wave times are that they are individual. We are not competing against each other, just ourselves. Its just great to see what can be done I never managed one last year but will defo get the clock ticking on my next outing
