Liking the look of this 48Km around the trails of Long Mynd taking in some of the trails in the area. This is what the website says - This inaugural event covers 48km of excellent mountain biking terrain over the Long Mynd taking in the best of the singletrack descents and the most challenging climbs. A mass start challenge event with no prizes for first place. The emphasis is all about riding the best bits of the Long Mynd’s natural trails at your own pace with plenty of strenuous climbs and technically demanding descents. A good fitness level is required and off road handling skills.I've got a sprint distance triathlon the follwing day, so would have to travel back after the event. However, if I remember correctly, Long Mynd is only about an hour and a half's drive. Anyone else interested ?

I bet it's the same loop they use for the crc event, lots of open moorland but a few good trails

I think it may be on the same day as the Dairi Pak in Oswestry.
