Is now open! brand new track around the shooting ranges and across the RSPB reserve then on to the Harp in Little Neston.
Now possible to ride from Chester to Hoylake with 90%+ on traffic free cycle paths.

On the section Denhall to Little Neston they have put speed bumps down. It's a lot narrower there so probably a sensible decision to avoid any clashes.

I know cycle paths are boring but that does look very nice indeed. I hope that timber decking is safe in the wet

Seems to be it's got groves in it and raised grip strips made out of some sort of greeny grippy material.

Gutted...it makes my manor more accessible to Scousewalians...another house price crash on the Wirral Hopefully you'll turn around in Neston so the impact isn't too great

You can access it from Deeside industrial park, at coords 53.240879,-3.032962. Take the first exit at the 2nd roundabout after leaving the Welsh Road, onto Tenth Avenue, then take the third exit at the next roundabout. Follow the road, and you should see entrance to the path on your right after about 300 yards. Google Maps

Riding from Chester past RAF Sealand, over the bridge over the dual carriageway.
1: After the straight after coming down the bridge heading towards Deeside, don't fork left, take the right hand fork instead.
2: This track curves round to the right at the next junction turn right and go thru the trees and round a s-bend
3: Then you'll ride along a traffic free road alongside the spare fenced off ground next to the Toyota factory.
4: At the bollards head towards the roundabout
5: At the roundabout take first left
6: Follow this road round the s bend and the track starts in the far right hand corner at the end of the road, is sign posted from there.
