This message is for the admins.
Is there an option to put a calendar on the site whereby folks can update with various event dates and details so others can see what's going on etc?

Its something that has been mentioned in the past and we did install one on the main site but unfortunately this is only updatable through the mbnw main dash so members cant update it which is a bit rubbish. I will have a word with ''Dan the man who can'' and see if there is any thing we can do. Also there is a big pro boards update coming in to effect soon with a lot of changes so there is a chance there may be something in there

Good call I'd appriciate that, as I don't know many events. I'd like to go along to one or two to see how they're run. Maybe take part later in the year.

It appears that the calendar on the new style forum will have the option for everyone to add events

It appears that the calendar on the new style forum will have the option for everyone to add events ....ummmm I'm not sure I get this thread, I'm sure we have this already with the calendar button at the top of the forum which has always been there, and if you go in there there is a "new event" button which even I as joe bloggs on the forum can use without being an admin. I don't think that this feature is really used by anyone at the moment, apart from it just shows when everyone's birthdays are. ... but I'm sure the new version will be better ;D
