To get the post back on track so to speak, believe John has made the same school boy mistake that all parents do. DO NOT, under any circumstances let your child on a bike, especially yours. what happens is that the quality of your rides goes down because you take the little darlings out and then they start stealing bits of your bikes, or possibly your bike and you then spend all your money that you would have spent on your bikes that you dont have on bikes that they do have. Well thats how it seems to work anyway in my house. That's absolutely true! I'm slowly blinging up my daughter's bike and just noticed Mrs. T could really do with a shorter stem too! But if it helps to keep them on the trails then it'll be worth it won't it?

I am looking forward to the day I can take Jess on the trails! Gonna be a while though! So I guess a baby seat for the hardtail is the next natural step
