Well with winter fast approaching its time to think about my clothing, I've lost count how many times ones been wet this year.
I'm thinking along the lines of the Endura eVENT 3/4 Over Trouser and maybe their jacket or along that lines, has any one tried any of the eVENT clothing.

Ive got a very lightweight RAB mountaineering waterproof jacket and thats eVENT, Its brilliant. Trouble is, people tend to go with Gore tex because it was the 1st of its kind on the scene and thats all some people know or want. These days there are waterproof materials out there that rival it, Like eVENT. Ive been looking at my winter riding attire, what do i get? at the moment a good waterproof jacket is what I'm going with, My endura shorts are water repellent to a degree but as long as my upper body is warm and dry i wont worry about my legs. I know this is a long running joke with me but I have a pair of micro fleece lined Lycra bib tights that are water repellent and when they are wet they are like a wetsuit keeping you warm. I am going to either look at getting some waterproof SPD shoes or go for the waterproof over boots .http://www.endura.co.uk/Product.aspx?dept_id=107&prod_id=26 Don't know yet. One thing I did buy last winter which was a godsend was an endura skullcap www.endura.co.uk/Product.aspx?dept_id=109&prod_id=6 OK you look a tw@t but in the cold winter weather it covers your ears and keeps your head warm

I brought last year some Endura Windtex Clip-Biblong Padded Tights which have Windtex fabric front & sides (wind/waterproof & breathable) weren't cheap but did cracking job last winter just put my shorts over the top, also have some Endura over shoes not water proof but kept my shoes clean and feet warm no more waiting days 4 your shoes to dry off. Came across this bargain before Altura Stretch Shield Waterproof Overshoe Sale price £15.00 from alpine bikes www.alpinebikes.com/shop/altura/stretch-shield-waterproof-overshoe/

Ask Pikey about the eVENT material, he had a jacket on today and reckons it kicks ass over goretex.

eVENT is far better than Gortex, most of my kit that i have now for Hill Walking is eVENT from Boots to clothes, the only thing is it doesnt come cheap like the Endura eVENT 3/4 Over Trouser at £99.

True! But if I have to tell the ideal outfit for winter then I will say its workout leggings, long boots and a hoodie. I feel this has become the universal outfit for girls in winters. Do let us know the review of the clothes you bought along with the picture.
