Went on a typical Summitoppler All-Dayer today. Just me and Jeff but plenty fun was had, even the sight of a randy horse couldn't put us off The route was from just outside Conwy along the bridle paths and trails up to Drum then over towards the Bothy and then back around to Conwy (That's the edited version of the route, I'm sure Jeff will correct it). Loads of pics will be on soon by Jeff, I was too busy trying to keep up but sadly had to bail early (at about 2:30) as my legs just couldn't handle the climb up to the bothy. Fun and games trying to follow a map and remembering Jeff's directions meant I took a couple of wrong turns but finally got back to the car around 4 knackered but very happy! Thanks again to Jeff for showing me more places to ride and for finally getting up Drum:-) I hope you've got home by now and the missus isn't worrying about you! Sent from my Xperia Mini

I love that route and think I've done most of it apart from the castle but how many times have I got to tell you about leaving your bike unlocked when you go in for something to eat ps It still gnaws away at me when we were up there in the sunshine on that 3 mountains ride and we toyed with the idea of going out along that extra ridge for an explore but didn't ....bring on the summer
