To reduce weight on Gregs bike for races have decided to install might lighter rigid 24" forks instead of the fitted suspension forks. have found some whhich have now turned up and weigh about 1/3 of suspension forks. however they have 1" stearer instead of 1 1/8. So, long shot but does anyone have reducers kicking around to go from 1 1/8 to 1"? Also after a set of V-brakes, front to stick on the rigid forks.

I have a set of old Deore V brakes gathering dust (front and rear) that you can have.

Thanks, got the brakes today and all the bits I needed. Now have easy race conversion with smart looking v-brakes on rigid forks. Reckon lost best part of Kg on bike.
