Thanks Craig. Just read the discription and it sounds like a good ride out, but I need to get fit before I try a 25k ride.

Based on Angelsey mate. Need to try and find some rides on the island. not much on the island buddy, nice flat trail in newborough forest, lon las cefni cycle path and what you can make up on footpaths. i mainly just get out for an hour or two blast on the roads, if i want some good trail riding i cross that bridge and tag along with these guys. get your fitness up on the roads its a lot easier ;D

Yeah, I've been around the forest, and it was a good afternoons riding. All tho I did lose my better half and the kids along the way.

After I missed Aled's lap of the Marin this morning due to lounging around in bed a bit too long, I thought I'd have a go at a non-stop lap this afternoon. Not a very fast time as legs were tired before I started. At least I'll have something to beat next time round when the legs are fresh. Not sure why my distance is less than Gus, but I did do it all, honest Next time I'll try to remember to put an energy gel in an accessible pocket as the reserves were running low by the end.

My commute to work isn't a recognised circuit for forum members, granted, but a 'top speed' willy wave nonetheless. Finally got over 50 on an incline just of the A487 near the Faenol Estate. And still got to work late

Either you've been grabbing on to the back of some lorry, or you've got one hell of a downhill on your way to work. Slow ride home?!
