Just got back from two and a half days in Scotland. Went up with Leon the pro (James), Paul and Neil. Rode at Glentress and Innerleithen and what a ride it was
Nothing here can prepare you for what you'll come across up there. I know it's all been said before but it's true. It's the mutts nuts. Jumps, drops, berms and northshore all over the place. The berms are proper one's as well that you can nail it round.
We did Glentress freeride park and the blue run down from there on Friday afternoon. Freeride park and all the red run with a bit of the black and Ewok village followed by the blue down from the FR park in the afternoon on Saturday. We then went over to Innerleithen and rode the red run with a bit of the black on Sunday. Also rode part of the downhill course there.
Spooky wood is a must at Glentress, as is the blue run below the freeride park. Jumps and berms everywhere.
Caddon bank and the final single track at Inners is a must but the descent from Minch Moor is a cracker to. HELL IT'S ALL GOOD
Managed to ride it all without breaking anything as well. Bikes or bones, well almost ;D Don't ya just love anti inflammatory tablets.
Took a load of video up there but only a few pics. Couldn't be arsed stopping for the pics, the riding was to good. Hope to get some footage on-line but here's some pics in the meantime.
James coming off the fun box, Glentress.
At the top of Inners, Minch Moor.
James and Paul sessioning the rock drop at Caddon Bank, Inners.
Your going to have a great time up there lads.
