Shimano M545 pedal problem

Hi All...
Just wanted to hear if anybody else has had or heard of problems with these pedals before,I've now knackered 3 out of 4 pedals all the same problem.
As you can see in the photo the spring and cover cap has dropped out, OK my off in nant yr arian 2 weeks ago i can maybe put down to smashing one in a rock but today at degla I lost another with now real hits on it either,now
begining to think I'll not buy these again and maybe look up to the PD-M785

Bit of a strange one that Baz, never had any trouble with any Shimano SPD's. If you're looking to try a different model of platform type SPD, I've been using these Shimano M530's for the last 3 years and as well as being tough, they are cheap too! You can buy the bits that are missing from uk bike store or halfords will order them.

Just sent an email asking for stock comfirmation. it'll cost £15 to sort the 3 pedals out.
