Well I have my new stem so I can fit my lights, shame I was unable to try them out tonight, so will give them a proper test tomorrow night somewhere.

Nice to meet up gar - unlucky with your bike. You going to buy the joystick then?
We arrived back in the car park just past 9:30 - took us 2:45 according to my watch. Not bad really as we stopped a few times to admire the wildlife and dogging.
The ride itself was superb - amazed me how much speed we carried in the downhill sections considering it was dark - plus I also managed to hit a rabbit. Oggy just missed him but my front wheel clipped him; he was ok though as I saw him run away.
Theres something about nightriding that makes you feel you are going very fast! good laugh though.
Also very impressed with my hopes. Mounted them to my helmet and they are more than enough for trail riding. It's a wide beam and totally floods the track in front of you. Also impressed with the Minewt - lots of light from something so small
