Good to see it's all fully open again. Would have joined you but I was otherwise engaged. I assume you started from visitor centre and not the village halfway around?

Thanks for dragging me out,not that i needed much persuasion,
That was no puddle, both flat out in ruts with only one way to go, i actually aqua surfed it all, then felt like i was hit by a tidal wave, drenched in dirty brown water, much to others amusement,so glad i didn't put clean cloths on
The climbs weren't as bad as i thought they were going to be,and the descents easier, well worth the travel down, even though i had a lift,
Not sure about starting from the village, as you have that sweet single/open track track back to the center,
A good weekend on a orange5

I'll have to get down there, now I know it's all open. The Whyte will have started to seize up as it's not turned a wheel since the Elin Revenge forum ride 2.2.14!

Thanks for suggesting this, Gwyn. It had been almost a year since I was last down at NyA and the trails we're better than I remembered. Certainly easier, but that might be down to the 29er steed A great day out in the sunshine, haven't laughed quite as much as when seeing Gwyn create a tidal wave as tall as herself She almost took Rupert out, too! Nice steady pace, long descents, with no scrambling bikes holding us up this time. A bit freaky doing the final descent on the now-clear felled hillside with the shadows of all the red kites circling overhead. Definitely worth the journey down there.

Looks like you all had a good day out-it's one of my favourite places to ride. It has a real wilderness feel to it and some cracking views. I'm afraid it's back to reality Gwyn with all the puddles round here-nothing like Spain! Sounds good to me Smithy, just post it up when you've got more info.
