Once upon a time there was an unofficial downhill track in Coed Llangwyfan. Personally I don't know what happened but it was closed down. A year or two ago a little single track was cut through the same woods which was a little cheeky (not extreme) but none the less good fun. It was in two sections with a footpath separating the top and bottom sections. A few months ago we went down it and some trail pixies had been there and built some jumps. Not such a big issue but what the fookwits had also done was alter the exit route that crossed the footpath. Whereas it had a sharp left turn before hitting the footpath and turning right to the second section the mongs decided it was a good idea to go straight on which would join the footpath at full speed and where the locals walked their dogs. The last time we were there we concluded it would soon be closed due to the change to the exit and guess what... Thank you fookwits for ruining it for everyone else #idiottrailpixies

Saw the sign there a month ago, there's also a try felled across the trail further down,
It was closed years ago because of the same reason,

They've felled a lot of trees across it to the extent you can't even walk down it now

A real shame this has happened-it was a nice little cheeky bit. Not totally unexpected however and likely that the Forestry Commission weren't given much choice as that final exit is onto a busy route, especially now more people will be using it with summer here.
