But that's normal round here.. So anyway, pretty new to this mtb stuff but getting into it ( thanks to my eldest son ) and really enjoying it. Live just outside Machynlleth, I'm 44 and was donated a gary fisher marlin disc bike that had been bought new in 2006 and never used, it went from the " holey trail " to under their stairs and lived there ever since. I get alot of people looking down their noses at it as it's an old un, but you get those type of peeps round here. Hoping this group aint among them..........hahahhaha.. Anyway back to ebay as I'm hunting for a half decent bike for my youngest now........ So this one is mine. This is my eldest's, just worked out how to put pics in so thought I'd add these in.

Welcome to the forum, I think you'll find we're all friendly on here and won't take the p1ss too much We sometimes take a trip down your neck of the woods t ride around The Dyfi and also Nant Yr Arian (NYA), one of my favourite trails in Wales. If you want to make the journey up north for a ride, check out the 'Plan Your Rides' section to see what's going on. And if it makes you feel any better, my first 'proper' mountain bike was a Gary fisher Exclibur. Rim brakes, grip shift gear change and 80mm of travel on the front, and do you know what ? I miss that bike
