I was out walking around the Brenig today, seen a sign post with details of the Triban trail. Looked it up on line and there doesn't seem to be much info or GPX files. Last year or the year before I know OPA did some organised rides following the Triban trails, but you had to pay up to get any info. I was wondering if there is any more info out there of if the trails are waymarked? thanks

"Take on the Her Hiraethog – a 52km exhilarating mountain bike ride!"
Hmmm, that might be stretching it a bit. A good ride it may be but I'm guessing a CX bike would be better having looked at the route. Lots and Lots of tarmac with a few sections of double track.

Did it a few months back & its actually quite good but needs to be done anti clockwise & cut out some tarmac by using the fireroad to get to Penmachno & a descent down to Ysbyty Ifan. Its then mainly hardcore doubletrack until you get to a superb descent back to Betws - disc brakes needed
