In continuing with the theme of alternating the Thursday evening rides, last Thursday saw seven of us make the short trip to llandegla for a blast around the black route.
Although we're starting to get to know the trails now, it puts a different slant on things when everything is shrouded in darkness and all you have to show you the way are your lights.
This resulted in a couple of unexpected dismounts for both Tony and myself
Only one mechanical and that was a comic puncture for the fat lad
The weather was exceptionally warm for the time of year and I think a few of us were overdressed as it got a bit warm once we got going on that first climb.
A great ride once again and a nice pint afterwards, cheers Tony
Thanks to all that made the effort to get out. I managed to get a couple of pictures, but was too busy having fun to stop too often
I'm on nights for the next two weeks so i won't be out, but I expect Simon will post next week's ride up if you fancy a night out
