In response to the feedback we received regarding injecting a bit of life into the Forum we have created a new Facebook page. This new page takes the format of a group rather than a club, which allows members to post Pictures, comments and add post of their own. Something the existing page was sadly lacking. The Facebook page will be administrated by myself, Dan and Jeff, and as yet we are still trying to navigate our way around the page and tweak it, so please be patient. We’ve also tried to have it so that anyone wishing to join must be accepted by an existing member, this should stop people joining just to sell fake Oakleys. This page went live yesterday and the early indications look quite promising with a number of existing members joining the group and posting up their pictures from recent rides. I’ve also copied the ‘Hall of Shame’ album over as well as adding some pictures from our week in the Alps, a process which is a lot easier than mucking about with Photobucket or Flickr. I think it will take a bit of time to find it’s feet and for people to gain the confidence to post up planned rides. And when they do, that will be the real test. Will people actually turn up and ride or will all the riding be organised via text between friends ? Just to reiterate, this Facebook page is not intended to replace the Forum but to supplement it and we’ll try to keep both updated. However, I cannot guarantee that people will go to the effort of posting on both the facebook page and the forum and this is where the real test will be. Anyway, for those who have not yet visited the new facebook page, the link is below - www.facebook.com/groups/www.mbnw.co.uk/
