I agree - a foil bag/blanket is well worth the space 'cos you never know when you or someone you find will need one.

I agree - a foil bag/blanket is well worth the space 'cos you never know when you or someone you find will need one. Foil blankets are good however you need to be careful with them. If a person is wet and very cold for example, the foil blanket can be a dangerous thing. Foil blankets reflect a persons body heat back onto them to warm them up again, if that person is very cold there is no or very little body heat to do that. Imagine pulling a chicken out of the freezer, wrapping it in foil and putting it in the fridge, it will take ages to defrost because the foil is just reflecting the cold back on to the chicken. They are good to keep off the windchill.

i take bug repellent !!nothing worse than mosqitos at the car park or flies bugging ya while on a bit of a sweat session!!! a orange survival bag too if on solo treks up the mountains.if ya get injured just shelter inside it from the elements and where ever you are theres a good chance of some1 spotting you pretty quickly!!
