Hi Martin - thanks for the welcome.
The username relates to another hobby so I just use it in all the forums, my name is Paul.
Picked up the forum from a post in BikeRadar.
As seems traditional, potted history:
Got my first mtb back when there were only MuddyFox and Pugs available and somehow managed to get by without ally and suspension - then of course life starts to get in the way and you get fat :-)
Soo.. about ten years ago we we moved to the wifes original home on the island, discovered it was possible to ride on the road without homicidal taxi drivers trying to kill us so we bought a pair of Marins - and here we are.
Most riding is fairly local stuff with sheep dog in tow ( dog hates the bike 'cos he's no longer fastest in the team )
