Myself, Gazooks and Punk faced the icy cold weather and did the Glyn Ceiriog Pheasant Track Ride. Warmed up after the first long climb - unfortunately a few of the downhill sections did not and were solid ice and un-rideable. An enjoyable ride however and some great scenery. Some photos sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=594988Also a satellite image just for fun!!

Quite a bit of road climbin and xc field type stuff but we quite like that for a change. The scampi and chips were great by the way

good ride today pitty about that downhill section being frozen over towards the end its usually top drawer, as you say prob not everyones type of riding today, came across a variety of people enjoying the outdoors today from bloodthirsty hunters to quiet ramblers and knobheads on motocross bikes .

you will encounter all sorts around there mate, i used to be heavily into off roading and this was a regular area for me. encounters with obnoxious walkers and mx bikes tearing up the contryside when i used to try so hard to 'tread lightly'. one of the reasons i give it all up. so glad i did, having so much more fun now

Still impressed by the Nokia sports tracker thingy, but hard work looking at those photos Si, got bored after the first 2 or 3 waiting for them to load, then moving the mouse again to click "next" again etc... can't you just put them on photobucket or something for ease of viewing?

I am impressed with the whole Nokia set up to. So am i! I have a Nokia N96 (with internal GPS) so i'm going to set this Sports Tracker thingy up on it and give it a go. Sounds like it's the (free) alternative software to Memory Map and the like.

Go into applications/applications manager then download the Sportstracker. Make sure you set you camera to record the image location in the camera settings if you want them to be placed on the correct locations on the map when you upload then to the service. Not sure if the Nokia N96 has wifi? If it does and you have a wifi connection at home connect to it to upload to the service for free as it will cost you lots otherwise though your phone coneection ;D

I've just ordered a Sony Ericson C905 with 'Built-in GPS with A-GPS function, Wayfinder Navigator software' whatever that is. Has anyone ever used this package and if so whats it like, how do you rate it?
