Hi, I'm Col the bloke behind www.flattyresmtbroutes.comAs you may guess from my website I'm quite into my riding. I'll pretty much have a go at anything as long as it's fun. I take my own rides a couple of times a month, which usually have a great turn out and anyone is welcome. But for my personal riding I have recently lost my riding mates and was looking for other people to ride with. Then I came across this forum on Facebook and it looks like you have something good going here. I'll keep my eye on the rides being posted and hopefully ride with some of you soon ;D

Hi Col seen your website before and was keen to try some of there routes but due to bad weather (last summer always wet) didn't get to do the vornwy and some of the clwydians. I'm from caernarfon and the Idea of driving 1 to 2 hrs and then riding in the wet for approx 4hrs followed by 1 to 2 hr drive home did not apeal.

Keep those GPS files coming Col, they make it so much easier to get the routed into Memory Map. If you save them as GPX files instead of MMO files then riders with other mapping software can use them and they can even be imported into Google Earth. Theyre also a lot smaller so will save you a little bandwidth.
