Hi all, just a quicky as i am going to try a route from the pondarosa cafe at the horseshoe pass and head to carrog and wondered if anyone has any info on this route, cheers

did this route over the tops a few years ago (i f this is what your planning ) motorbikes had chewed it up and made it hard work. you can see the tracks from miles away ! Big drops aswell - bottled half of them !!

I headed that way in the summer and went around one side of the mountain rather than over the top. www.petereverett.co.uk/cycling/map-gpx.php?ref=Wrexham-Glyndyfrdwy-loopThe bridleway at Plas Norway is fenced off - apparently because there's a dangerous cliff face (which the path doesn't go anywhere near....). The rest of the route wasn't that hard to follow, although quite often I did wonder if I was on the right path. Post your route on here when you've been and let us know what it's like. Over the top sounds like it might be a better route.

Did the trail as planned and will put some pics on here tonight if i have time . lots of big ups and very steeeeeep downs..
