Sorry oggs, got to be done mate B-).
In llanberis quarry whilst going quite fast down the inclines, oggy clipped one of his pedal on a huge slab of slate that was sticking out. this threw him a good 10 foot on to his face! His brand new ff is a bit messed up from it. But it could have been his head/face/teeth that needed attention. Lucky escape mate. Pitty we didn t have it on video :-P!

I saw it yesterday, gutted for him, but like you say, could have been his grid all smashed up.
That slates nasty stuff.

At this rate we should start a smashed lid section on the forum ;D ;D Do we have a post on ride safety? Could be a link on the home page listing recommended essentials for mtb'ing Helmet Gloves Pads Icons from the route map showing if armour / full face is recommended for specific trails. Nice 1 boys, very glad i had my full face on, even on its second outing its done its job. For anyone intending on riding dh a full face is a must. If i didnt have it on i would have defo cracked my head open and probably lost a few teeth. Still managed this sweet drop after the crash, nice 1 crash test dummy Bri for doing first ;D  |
