Hey guys... I 'm looking to get out on the bike on Sunday morning and then meeting up with my Missus at her parents house in Pontfadog. Does anyone know of a route i can use on my bike?.. I dont mind some road mixed in with it and i have a Garmin 305Edge if you know of a route i can download. Ideally i want to start from the Llandegla forest and go up to the masts then down to the Ponderosa and up the other side to the Llanstisillio mountain(i think that what's it's called?).. Where do i go from there?.... I've done a route that brings you back out at the bottom of the new Horseshoe Pass road but nothing more around there.. Any advice please or anyone fancy joining me at a slow leisurely pace??.. Cheers.. Michael..

yes, drop down to ponderosa and over the peaks which you can then drop down into glyndyfrdwy. From here you can pick up a road which goes up behind the church and up the side of the valley onto the moors and straight through plas nantyr forest, this will tale you past the picnic area and onto the road above glyn ceiriog, you can either follow the road down into pontfadog or use some of the bridleways to drop down to. Can't help with the gps sorry but all are easily marked on the os maps. I was brought up in pontfadog as a youngster and used to trail ride round there to in years gone by.
