Can anybody help point me in the right direction for the old DH track hidden away in the forest?

The old one that runs down to the marin carpark is no longer really there, they have felled trees across the trail so you carnt ride it as i think its on a footpath, there are a couple of others in the gwydr forest ut im not to sure where they are.

There is a cease and desist order on Whinneys, though it is mostly still in fine fettle.
As Oggy says the trail down to the Marin Car Park is long gone, and was pretty marginal anyway, lots of footpath crossings, not very subtle or sustainable.
I'm well aware of where about 10 of the old SDC trails are, but there is NO chance of me putting any details on the internet. A lot of work went into them in the first place, and a lot of hard graft has gone into the revival of them. If you are desperate for some Gwydyr DH, go and ride Whinneys. Just after the first right on the way up the back road towards the ugly house. The bottom section is clear, including the rock slab.

Just to stick a tin lid on this topic I have PM'd kn0bch33s3 (Ian) with an offer of a look round the trails some time. As someone said, they are all really terrible, just muddy with big rock features*. *It's a downhill track not the family route at 'degla! ;-)
