I have a lot of route guides on my website www.flattyresmtbroutes.com but have only just got myself a GPS unit. I have made a start on logging my routes but it is going to take time. After emailing with Oggy it seems like, with the problems he is having with the routes section on this site, together and me already having most of the legal stuff up on my site, he is just going to link to mine. If you have a GPS log of one of my routes and don't mind me posting it up for everyone to use could you send me a copy of it. It will then allow you all to get the most out of the resource as possible.

Yep guys and Gals, MBNW is now in association with Flattyres Mountain bike routes. Hopefully there will be some joint flattyres and MBNW rides in the future as well as the two sites helping each other along the way

Great news guys. More publicity for the forum, more routes, more opportunities for riding further afield and more new blood! Good work, good to see both sites going from strength to strength

..... as well as the two sites helping each other along the way He could do with all the help he can get now he's got twins on the way. Hey Col?! Great to hear you've joined together (safety in numbers and all that!!!). I know Col has worked really hard putting his website together and he's really helped me out getting into mtb'ing. Including sorting me out with my first bikes. Good to see he's found some support in you guys.. and vice versa.

Yes it's a good ride. Not overly taxing but there are some great trails, especially on the second half of the ride.

The descent down into Hirnant is great fun, view at the top of the last descent down to the lake is one of those must see views. Out with the CCM on Saturday to ride around there on a mostly similar route to Col's >> www.wheretostop.co.uk/routes/Lake_Vrynwy_Classic.gpx
