Just thought I'd say Hello!
I've been mountain biking since June 2008 and I have spent a lot of time up at Llandegla. I live in Wrexham so its easy to get to!
I find that being female its hard to find people to go out on tracks with - none of my friends like the sport or outdoors and all you blokes are just too impatient waiting for me!! I'm addicted to the outdoors and the muddier the better and one day I'll kick some male butt down the tracks so watch out!!!
If there are any female members on here that would like to go out in group then please get in touch or if there are any PATIENT blokes on here who are just up for a laugh and want to go out on a track then please let me know.
Take Care
Nicky

Hi Nicky, I was just about to write you a welcome then. Where did you hear about the website and forum? there are a few lady members on here and im sure they will give you a shout for a ride out. just stick a post up in the 'plan your rides' section. Any problems or questions regarding the forum please give a member of staff a shout. Martin

Welcome Nicky!
Everyone's pretty friendly on here.
Unfortunately I'm moving up to Scotland next week, otherwise I would have taken you up on the offer to meet up for a ride.
Llandegla's my local trail too, or was!
Have fun.

Hey Nicky, Give me a shout if you want to get out for a ride. Don't know what your hours of work are, but me and Sooz are planning a ride (possibly Llandegla) March 4th, if not I'm free most Sundays

Welcome, There are a few blokes on here with manners and who will happily wait, or even say ladies first. Not every ride has to be an all out blast. also don't be put off coming on a forum ride, the speed freaks can do their own thing unless they learn some manners and there will be a number of us who will hang about also hopefully start the ball rolling in having more women on our rides.
