Just a quick post to find out if anyone has any good accommodation suggestions for a group of about 10 lads and mountain bikes.
The storage area for the bikes isn't that important but close to a pub is always a must when 10 lads go away.
We went and stayed in Peebles last year but there was only 5 of us and it was spot on due to the pubs and restaurants.
Please let me know. Thanks.

www.tweedvalleybikehouse.com/This is the place we use, its great accomadtion really cheap, the owners are brilliant, carnt fault the place, also a good pub next door. Only 6 beds tho. When 6 of us go it costs 33quid each and thats for 2 nites. If you book it mention the forum and if you have a spare place give me a shout as im always up for a trip up. Have you riden the innerlithen trail, far better than Glentress itself and Glentress is amazing

We never got to do innerlithen last year because we all drank to much on the sunday so decided not to bother, we did Glentress, red then the black on Friday and Sat. Thanks for the tip, maybe we could do the black at Glentress on the fri then the black at Innerlithen on the saturday and still get drunk! Thanks again for the links, it helps if they come recommended. Your more than welcome to come mate, we don't bust a gut just have a good few days, were going the 1st weekend of September to avoid the bites and heat (we like some soft terrain!). just let me know and I'll keep you posted.

We stayed at a bungalow called LochmaBen a few times in Innerleithen - highly recommended and you can also keep the bikes securely indoors.

Thanks for the info were all sorted now. Were staying in the Cross Keys Hotel (Peebles) which we stayed in last year and is perfect for the trails were doing.
I didnt realise when I posted this that the hotel could actually fit us all in but they have some double rooms as well as bunk houses. They great thing with this hotel its £45 per man for 2 nights and its got a chinese, indian and several good pubs a stone trow away so its happy days (and most inportantly its only 5 mins from Glentress)!
Thank for the posts tho..... 2 weeks on friday we'll be there, innerlaithen on the friday and glentress on the saturday.
whats the best trail at innerlaithen?
