Train back?
100k in a day could be do-able, might not want 2.5 inch tyres front an back ;D
Would the route take in a trail centre, such as CYB, even one of the shorter trails?
Right click on the GPX file link and save it to your PC. Then drag and drop it into Google Earth to see here it goes.
Setting off from Oswestry, it takes in some classic Berwyn riding in the form of the Wayfarer then heads along Bala lake before heading up the mountain road that goes from Llanywchllyn to Trawsfynydd. Just as you get to the highest point of this road you turn left and drop down through the forest to the top end of CyB before taking in the Adams Family descent and a stop at Dolfrwynog Cafe for some cake. The route then heads through the forest to Dolgellau before taking the Mawddach trail down to the sea.
I'd get a lift home with the support car if It's one of my mates or by train (free pass) if anyone else knows of someone they can rope into it in the name of charidy. What the SP with that community minibus Oggy. Obviously petrol costs would be covered.
Martin is the man to ask about the community minibus as he organized it for the conwy ride. I get the the sunshine bus everyday ;D
I really want to do this ride but im unsure about it as a forum charity event as we really need somthing that everybody can take part in. Perhaps we could do it as a seperate charity event?
