Is that officially marked? Whilst I was at the resevoir I looked over the Atherton jumps, shame they're out of bounds. The good thing about the smoothing out is it makes it a bit easier on a HT, might be able to go for a PB next time the GT puts in an appearance ;D
Does anyone know if these Atherton jumps are still there? I believe they were built for their training course run from OPA. I ride the forest weekly and often at night but haven't come across them despite exploring almost every off-piste trail, old track there is. I have read about it on a few old circa 2007-2009 pages and seen a couple of blurry photos. You say it's near the reservoir? In another page it looks like it's near a forest track and someone else says it's about 100m from the green/walking route. Just curious to see any old tracks left behind, but appreciate your post was almost 10yrs ago now!
