ok guys i want to go to fort william in the beginning of september, however i have rung a few hotels and they are either not too welcoming for mtb's or dont offer a lot of facilities for what they are charging (138 for a double room per night b&b) no pool, gym, etc
I want to make this a mtb trip but also a bit of quality time with the gf, so dont want to stay in hostel's etc any ideas?

Your best bet may be to get intouch with a local shop up there and ask them what they know. They may be able to square you away.
failing that look at the scottish tourism wesite Im sure they will have something on there for mountain bike holidays and activities.
let us know how you get on.
Martin.

I've been on kayaking trips up there a few times. There's a friendly place at Onich, near Fort William, it's got a bunkhouse and also log cabins with a bar / restaurant on site. www.inchreecentre.co.ukI've also stayed at bunkhouse type places in Roy Bridge. Not sure about Fort William itself, must be a few of climbing type places. Look at the visit Scotland website.

It's a good place, stayed there lost and really frendly. Im sure there are bike routes at the back of the place towards Inchree waterfalls- Well walks at least and i'm sure you could take the bike. Have a good one.
