Is the pasta party any good? I went to the one for the Paris marathon and thought it was pretty rubbish and we went out for some proper tea afterwards as well. If it's not up to much then a ride to a pub for tea sounds in order ;D The pasta party consists of getting a free bowl of pasta, a cake and then f**king off to eat it somewhere away from the pasta van. It's a belter of a party ;D There is usually other food on offer too at different stalls - healthy stuff like burgers, sausages and (dog) eggs.

Okay, who's going? I don't think a list has been started yet. I'm going with a mate who is intersested in doing the 75 or 85 km routes, but I most certianly am not. Is anyone looking at doing more than the 50 and wanting a riding partner? List of who's going (I think)... Davydonn Oggy MarkyP Thistle Plasticfantastic notsospeedydaz SiMoult Ninja Penguin Punk

Apparently the course is brand new for this year, although it will be in the same sort of terrain.
Someone from work who did the last two has said "From what I've heard the Llanwrtyd Wells route will be excellent."

Has anyone ridden here before or does anyone know what the terrain's like? Not got a clue but the following is noted on the details: The course is 100% new and is designed by John Lloyd who was inspired to start mountain bike riding in this area. Llanwrtyd Wells is also home to the first mountain bike centre in the UK. This ride consists of four distances and will start by heading into the Irfon Forest and the Cambrian Mountains, before heading west to Llyn Brianne, the Towi Valley and the Doethie Valley – the latter has been described by many as the best natural singletrack in the country. Not to be missed
