I had a test bike for a couple of weeks and it had Sram X0 on it. I thought it was the nuts the shifts seemed brilliant with it (really direct, positive and fast)
Im running xt an lx at the moment but when I have some cash I would love to upgrade to xo
Any got any thoughts on the sram versus Shimao argument?

Yeh, I'm running Sram x9 on one bike and shimano xt on the other. Sram every time for me, as you said direct and fast.

My Trek runs SRAM X.0 rear meck and X9 shifters. they are the muts nuts, in my opinion they beat shimano hands down the shiftin is soooo sweet.
The only downside is the price. I dont fancy replacing my rear mech soon!

About 112 quids off chainreaction for x9 mech and pair of shifters, not to bad considering an x0 rear mech is about 130 quids on its own
