I've only been back riding about a year, at the moment i quite enjoy xc on the trail centres, just been to Penmachno, Marin and the MBR. Enjoy the downhills but am slow on the uphill sections. Must get out more to improve my fitness...

Hmmmmmmmm...I'm also pretty much the lazy uphiller but just finding my feet with mtb'ing. I like the singletrack and get a buzz on the downhills, but need to raise my confidence to go faster.

I think confidence can only come with riding the trails. Both my visits to Coed Y Brenin and Penmachno were my first, so i wasn't too confident anyway. Now i know what to expect, i can think about not bottling out on the decents as much when i visit them again.

Another chilled out rider here. Not a fan of the uphills, ah well it's a nice walk anyway ;D Love the downhill stuff, getting faster at it (i hope). MTBing is more of a social thing for me. Like to talk shoite along the fireroads, like to stop after a good downhill and chat about it, like to crack open the trusty flask of coffee every now and again ;D My kind of rider except for the coffee bit.

A the moment I am not liking the up hills because of fitness. But I am just enjoying the buz after a hard day in the office. When the fitness comes so will the speed then the accidents can't wait. ;D ;D ;D. I like any trails adventure is the game. Getting lost even better.

im a bit of a sucker for the uphill too, just love destroying it up there leaving my m8 in the dust lol
getin better at the downhill stuff, its all about confidence i find, once u done a trail enough times u can get a bit mental every now and again
