The first races took place last Saturday and went really well. Twenty two riders competed in three races covering five age categories and enjoyed some close racing. A Race Report and results can be found at Go-Race MTB events North East and West WalesIf your kids have always fancied having a go at Cross Country Mountain Bike Racing this is a great way to start. They are fun mulit-lap races over short courses, so friends and family can cheer riders on as they go past. Just turn up at the venue with Bike, Helmet and suitable clothing. Entry is on the day, with sign on from 9:30am and racing starting at 10:30am. Everything should be done by about 1pm.

With three rounds over, the final round of the North East Wales Go-Race mini-series is this Saturday at Coed Llandegla. There are series prizes up for grabs, based on the best three results in each age category, so if you have ridden some of the races make sure you come to the final round. Full race reports and results can be found on the NWMBA website Report and Results 2009 Go Race Youth MTB XC SeriesThe North West Wales series kicks off on 8th November at the Maesgwm Centre at Coed y Brenin (where the old centre used to be) and then alternates between Coed y Brenin and the "Tree Tops" high ropes centre at Betws y Coed, with the promise of more great racing.

The final Kid's Mountain Bike Race of the series has been moved to Coed y Brenin
Unfortunately the recent weather has made the course at Tree Tops unrideable. The Forestry Commission have kindly agreed to the final round being held on the course at the Maesgwm Centre at Coed y Brenin.
Registration opens at 9.00am.
First Race 10.30am

I hope my boys make registration this time, it was changed last minute last time and they missed out. They bombed it round Cyflym Coch instead putting grown men and women to shame ha ha!
First I heard of the changes, glad Ive seen them.
