:-/just wondering about your feelings on them mad heads that dont wear helmets.I cringe at the thought of them poor people going round them trails without a clue what there about to tackle!!!they should place signs highlighting the helmet situation on the car parks to the trails.I dont recall seeing anything like that has anyone else or does anyone else agree???

I'm sure I saw something about helmets at both Llandegla and MBR in the car park or the start, but I may be wrong.
I gotta admit on the trails a helmet is a definite, but on the road then I tend not to wear it.

Makes me laugh when I see guys wearing a buff around there head and no helmet in an attempt to look cool. They will learn the hard way. Dont car how good a rider you are its a big risk to take especially if you have a family to consider.

What makes me cringe is seeing a group of scallies at llandegla. Wearing tracksuits and no helmets.

Funny you mention this, I rode my old bike in Bolton traffic on thursday ( needed to pick up drugs from vet) I 'd left my helmet in Anglesey.... gawd I felt vulnerable!
Today I bought a second helmet so I can leave one in the truck "in case"
I climb antenna towers, rock and have cave dived - its second nature to me, reaching for my helmet.
Sorry but its a big risk not using one and I feel foolish that I admit I took that chance...
