Hi All,
have been into mountain biking for a while now, but was lucky enough to move from Oxfordshire to North Wales a year ago. Great to get away from claggy mud and trails full of horse hooves. Now have Llandegla & the Clywyds on the doorstep. Feeling quite fit now after a summer of riding in the real mountains, but would be good to meet some like minded people to keep the motivation going through the winter (although I can't make it to the October forum ride unfortunately).
Enjoyed my first Merida 100 at Ruthin a month ago and also managed the "Berwyn Fawr" ride out of the Bikefax on my lonesome (as training!) which was pretty tough!
I ride a Santa Cruz Superlight which has taken a fair old beating this year. Anyone know how to fix Reba forks with the anodising worn off?!
Cheers, Rupert

Welcome Rupert
Great to have Llandegla & the Clywyds on your doorstep, get on the forum rides when you can, I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction with regards to your forks.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I'm already a regular at Llandegla on Tue or Wed or Thurs night (anyone know if they are going back to Wednesday only late opening soon?), so will try to join one of your rides. Actually I just had to buy some new lights because I did a very stupid thing and left them on the roof of my car in LDG car park. By the time I realised, the battery was in lots of tiny pieces in the middle of the A525. And if you think you're not that stupid, it's actually very easy to do in the dark!! Still, the new Lumicycle LED lights are great, so can't complain
