Depends how far you want to travel mate, dont think there is many in Wales in winter.
The Kona mash-up down at Afan forest on the 5th December might be worth a look at.
You have the WHTYE Winter Series but thats £21 a pop but there at Brandon,Santon Downham and Thetford so a fair disatance.
Theres the Saddle Skedaddle series in Surrey from Jan to April 2010 again a fair distance.
Mud and Sweat MTB event down in Haldon Forest Park Exeter on the 29th Novemeber, other than that not many.

Apparently there is a winter Cyclocross series around the Bangor area. An hours racing and that's it, job done. Really good to keep your edge over winter on top of your base/high milage low intensity rides.
When I raced a lot, the south walians allways had an edge about them early season because the welsh cycling union series has 10 races over winter spread out over Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb. Really good fun.
If you give Garath or Matt a ring at Revolution-bikes on 01248355770 for more info. There is supposed to be one this weekend, but I can't do it as I'm doing the Coed y Brenin off road duathlon, 5k run, 20k bike and another 5k run if you fancy giving this a go.
