Felt a bit wierd wearing 3/4 length shorts for riding. At first wasnt sure about it because my legs were getting sweaty on the first hill climb but got to the top and onto the downhill and they were great, the vents in them kept your legs cool and there was plenty of movement in them.
Had to wear my lycra shorts underneath though, the material felt like it would sand the skin down on your spuds! ;D
Just need to see what they are like in the wet now, see how they keep your A$$ dry, Penmachno has to be the place for that, The wetes trail on earth ;D
All in all, so far a good buy. I think shorts that cover your knees like that give you a little more confidence on the faster bits.

Be buying some before next ride out I think.

I love my 3/4 Endura Hummvee shorts, mine came with lycra shorts already inside but didnt like the feel now im saving up for some Endura Venturi eVENT® 3/4's (Waterproof) shorts i hate wearing full gortex trousers and ripping them to shreds plus they get to warm.

these are water repelent to a degree, with waterproff zips. I do want to invest in a pair of gore tex 3/4 shorts for winter.
