Hi, i'm new to th forum, live in Buckley. I am a regular at Llandegla but looking to venture around north Wales more. Not been on bike for while as recovering from a broken pelvis done at Llandegla!

Flippin 'eck Adam... broken pelvis!
Thought my busted Achilles was bad.... but pelvis, jeez.
Anyway mate, hope your recovery has been as planned and I hope to join you and the rest of this lot on a forum ride sometime in the new year.

Thanks, all going well with recovery at moment had an hour on bike at weekend looking forward to going back out after Christmas now. See you all out soon.

Hey Addi, Sorry to hear about your injury.
I had a nasty off in Llandegla coming out of Medo's wood back on to the fire road. There's a nasty little right hand kick that sneaks up on you. I didn't notice it and went straight on over the edge and straight for the ditch between the track and the road. I flew over it it catching my back wheel on the edge of the ditch and landed on my back. I thought I'd done some real damage, but after getting my breath back I realised I was still in one piece and carried on riding (allbeit a lot slower).
Hope you mend soon so you can do it all again.

That's what i had hoped when i was lying on my back! but instead was carried out by 6 people on a stretcher!
Luckily i was at skills area so wasn't too bad for ambulance to get too although it did take 2 hours to get me out!
It amazed me how easily it was to do it too.

Loads of bad crashes at degla, never had one there myself (now I've done it!).
Hope you mend quickly addi and will no doubt see you on a ride in the future.
