Hi folks Pretty much a rookie to the mtb scene but already in love. Started off riding in the Peaks (Ladybower & Hayfield Loops and still do) on a borrowed bike but it was enough to have me spending my pennies and since then I've crossed the border to try the Marin and Llandegla javascript:add("%20:)") . I'm hoping it's ok to perhaps latch onto a couple of rides as they happen because it's a lot easier than trying to read maps (at least I'm honest), as long as it's ok with you folks (I promise to stay quite ). Anyway, ride a Marin, still coming to terms with my bottle, but loving every minute of it. Cheers Piles

Welcome to the forum pal, I'm from Stockport, but moved over the border 13 years ago.
I use to ride all over the peak district and still do from time to time, everyone on here will be happy for you to join in any rides, North Wales in packed with amazing natural trails and views.
If you fancy a ride just put your name down for it.

Cheers for the welcome folks, I'm keeping an eye open for what rides are on offer plus I spotted this one on flickr which I quite fancy www.flickr.com/photos/pspaldin/212018492/sizes/o/Does anyone know if it's involves much road, what the distance is or if I'll need to carry a spare lung ?
