Hello there. Recently been given this forum and think its fantastic, been living in Llangollen for just over a year now and very keen to meet up with some fellow riders. I'm as MTB obsessed as they come, been riding since I was 10 and would consider myself an oldskool rider, I prefer hardtails (I find FS bikes make it too easy and take away some of the challenge/fun and straight line speed a HT bike gives), I really like going on all day epic rides on natural trails and love being out in the wilderness on my own, but looking to ride with others a bit more this year. I don't have my own transport so most of time will only be able to come on local rides.

Welcome to the forum. I'm hoping to move to the Llangollen area in the not too distant future myself (currently awaiting news on a job in town) and there are a couple of other members already in the area. Hopefully you'll soon be able to come along to other areas to ride.

Hi Tom, I also love mtbing by myself on natural trails, but also love biking in a group too, feel much safer in the wilds with a few riders.
