Hi all,

Thought i would introduce myself, The name's Mark and i am 30 years old (sniff) ;D

I live in Ellesmere Port and work for Shell Uk at Stanlow Oil Refinery. I have a small gathering of bike's (much to the wife's disapproval) ;D

I regularly ride at Llandegla or Penmachno with the odd trip to Coed-e-Brenin thrown in when i can.

I am hoping to meet like minded people to just get out and ride with

Anyway thats me!!

Got to say hello to another local - I live miles and miles from you in Great Sutton!!! I too used to work for Shell many moons ago - was down at the Research Centre 1999 - 2001after 9 years at Octel.

Hiya Mark, I'm a newbie here myself and still looking forward to getting in on my first ride (possibly tomorrow on Clwyds one).
I see you fellas are both on The Wirral...do you ever just go for the flat stuff on the the hardtail ? I wizzed out down from Neston last year to Seacombe and back, about 40 miles I think but a nice ride.

Yeah, quite often ride the wirral way from hooton up to West Kirby then round the front all the way to New Brighton. Its a nice run if a little flat :-)

I am planning on going on the Climach-x ride on the 30th!!

I do the Wirral Way too - generally just turn around and do the same route back though. 16 miles each way from home and done it in 58mins on my mtb when i was a bit fitter last summer (one way - not both!! ;D )
