Hi...my names Andy and I also own a kracken (gosh it worked, I feel so much better all ready) My upgrade was limited to some continental travel contacts because I mainly use it for the TPT and other flat routes...oh, and I took the bell off but that's just down to my rebellious streak. Howdy ps I also have another bike but that's besides the point

Another Kraken here - well OK it's the kid's bike, have swapped the shifters, rear mech, wheels, tyres, headset, saddle, cassette, chain, fork, peddals, stem, bars, grips oh and the brakes and disc's. But apart from that all original.

Class ;D ;D ;D Anyway, welcome to the forum Rik. As Dan said, it's not what you ride but how you ride it that counts. Hope to see you out sometime soon. There's loads more riding than Llandegla out there to find. The guys out by Wrexham area do loads of local rides that take in bits of Llandegla but so much more as well.

I had to look that up! It's took 2.5 years to cycle thru the parts, replaced when worn or broke, best upgrades where Tyres (old one 1.1 kg each!, new about 600g) Brakes (replaced mech with hydro's) Fork - replaced with reba fork, the seals went after about 10 months) Weigh's about 27 lbs and is now ridden by his brother, should get another couple of years out of it. Thinking of replacing the frame, just need to work out how to transfer the stickers.......NOT Anyway welcome to the forum!
