I've heard good things about Superstar pads. They're supposedly designed for our typical UK weather. www.superstarcomponents.com/I'll be investing in some when i need some replacements

The best pads I've found for my Shimano LX are 'SWISS STOP' pads ;D. Their a bit more pricey but so far are out lasting any of the previous Fibrax/Shimano pads I've tried and have proved themselves in all conditions.
Ask Alf Jones Cycles in WXM to order you some if you can't find them online.
