Hi every body, I just came across some amazing facts (if the source is correct) Wales seams to be lacking behind England and Scotland when it comes to bike skills. On this website ( mtbtrailtime.googlepages.com/ ) that some dude of bike radar.com made, it shows all the trail centers around the uk, I am guessing that not all of them may be on it but there is a hell of a lot and a few I haven’t heard of. Any way my point is that under 'riding styles' there is nothing in Wales under the following subjects 1. Bike Parks / Fun Parks 2. Freeride and Northshore 3.Skills Loops / Junior Areas 4. 4X and Dual Slalom Think thats a bit of a shame really dont you?

While its no excuse, I think Wales concentrates on its strengths: That being the natural enviroment if offers for trail centres and the like.
I'd imagine England falls way behind Wales and Scotland for its XC and general trails riding. I also get the impression that Wales is more popular than the Scotland, with it being more accessible for those who have to travel.

Just had a look at the XC trails in Wales on that site. No mention of Penmachno, but it does say the site is a work in progress
Good site though

ye good point. i would like to see the odd skills area or noth shore. i went to scotland this summer (7 stanes) and the best thing i liked was the choice of red or black sections, very short bits like drops, north shore it was just good to have something that challenges you. Not that the trails hear dont or any thing but .... do you get better be riding harder stuff?
