Hi all, In response to the discount queries above we’d just like to clarify the Tweeks Cycles discount for MBNW members. The original offer is outlined here: northwalesmtb.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=generalchat&action=display&thread=3694We want to be able to offer the 10% discount where possible on all parts, clothing and accessories. As stated in the original post this excludes bikes but again where possible and depending on brand we will do the best price we can for MBNW members. If you want a bike the best thing to do is pop down and see us, make sure you mention that you’re a MBNW member and we’ll look after you. We hope this helps clarify the issue and feel free to PM any questions. Thanks for your continued support. The Tweeks Cycles Team

Ninja Penguin - In the Wrexham Evening Leader today there was an advert from Tweeks saying that they are offering 10% back in vouchers off new bikes - so would have thought you should have at least been offered 10% worth of vouchers or the discount you got plus the remainder in vouchers! Hope this helps!!

I went in on my search for a new bike on wednesday', did'nt like it. Tweeks are motors not bikes! Whats not to like? People dont like change, its great to see a local company give the same old shops a run for there money (Alf Jones's included ). Its got some top brands, open Sundays, give good discount on already reasonable prices and will fix your bike while you wait if your really stuck! If there advertising campain is anything to go by Wrexham will soon have one of the leading bike & equipment suppliers in the country and thats when you will see the prices come down even more . No I dont work there just pleased theres a new bike shop on the scene ;D

The Tweeks Cycles Team Thanks for clarifying that guys, I had only seen this thread and don't remember seeing the original. Maybe the wording in Oggy's post above could do with updating to match tweekscycles' original post to avoid any further confusion I went in on my search for a new bike on wednesday', did'nt like it. Tweeks are motors not bikes! To be honest they have a pretty impressive range of bikes, clothing and accessories in there and I was very happy with their attitudes and how they went out of their way to help - they even built up a bike from stock so the lad could have a go on it. Now we have the discount offer clarified and know it applies to most parts, clothing and accessories I'll certainly be using them again.... Unless I need to buy a bike ;D

Just to let you know, ive used them a fair bit and fair play the lads in there are very helpful in trying to help you find what you need, they have honoured the 10% discount every time, even recently for a Scott road bike so dont know why they didnt honour your discount for that bike?? Did notice today when i was after a front and rear mech, was after SLX and the price on the box for the rear mech was 59.99 but in reality it was 32 quid minus discount, dont look at the prices on the tags as they have everything up in the shop at rrp but a different price on the site, there is a computer for customers to use to check prices etc. Found them very good overall recently, even for a set of wheels for the car which i couldnt beat the price on the internet anywhere, keep up the good work and im glad to see a new bike shop, will help to beat the prices down in Alfs etc. Just going on my personal experience btw
